SafeYatri - Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy

Terms & Conditions

SafeYatri operates as a technology platform connecting customers with independent driver-partners for transportation services, including personal and shared cab bookings. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon advance payment. Vehicle category is guaranteed, but model, fuel type, or driver assignment may vary due to operational reasons.

Air conditioning may not function in hilly areas or when the vehicle is stationary. Shared cab bookings are seat-based, may involve route-based pickups, and require cooperation among passengers.

Minor delays may occur. Customers must arrive on time. Personal cab waiting time is 45 minutes; shared rides allow shorter waiting. Additional waiting charges may apply.

Final fare may vary due to route deviations, extra stops, or extended usage. Additional charges such as tolls, parking, and taxes are payable directly to the driver.

SafeYatri may substitute driver or vehicle if required. Customers must provide accurate details and remain reachable.

Misconduct, illegal items, or damage/soiling may result in penalties or termination without refund.

We strive to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all customers while maintaining operational efficiency. Complaints must be reported within 24 hours. SafeYatri may update terms without prior notice.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations for personal cabs made more than 24 hours before pickup may receive up to 50% refund; within 24 hours, no refund applies.

Shared cab cancellations follow similar logic with shorter timelines.

No-shows or unreachable customers will not receive refunds.

If SafeYatri cancels due to operational issues, a full refund or credit may be offered.

Refunds are processed within 3–5 working days, subject to banking/payment partner timelines.

A portion of the booking amount is non-refundable due to operational costs. Bookings block inventory, and cancellations impact operations.

Once a trip starts, it is considered fully utilized. Refunds may be issued as credits.

SafeYatri’s decision in disputes is final.
